Abstract
Navigating the dual roles of clinician and entrepreneur is a formidable challenge for nurses, requiring them to balance the high-stakes world of patient care with the demands of running a business. This research delves into the obstacles faced by nurse entrepreneurs at three healthcare institutions in Batangas City: United Doctors of St. Camillus de Lellis Hospital Medical Center, Jesus of Nazareth Hospital, and Golden Gate General Hospital. Through interviews and surveys with 40 nurse entrepreneurs, the study reveals struggles such as financial constraints, limited business experience, risk of burnout, and the impact of traditional healthcare cultures. These challenges are closely linked to the nurses' profiles, highlighting the difficulties in adapting to new markets and making rapid decisions. The research emphasizes the need for tailored support strategies and interventions, proposing the creation of a dedicated Facebook group for nurse entrepreneurs in Batangas City. This platform aims to build a community where members can share experiences, seek advice, and access resources to drive innovation and growth in healthcare entrepreneurship. Ultimately, the study offers practical solutions to enhance support systems, contributing to the advancement of nursing leadership and entrepreneurial success in the healthcare sector.
