Abstract
First aid is the initial, life-saving treatment provided to a person suffering from a major/minordiseaseorinjury, frequentlyasaresultofanaccident.Additionally, elementary schools specifically public schools that handle a huge population of children are much more prone to incidence since children are vulnerable when it comes to taking precautions especially when playing at vacant times at school premises. The research study was based on the awareness of the teachers on basic life support, essential management, and the availabilityofthefirstaidkit. How to ascertainhowwell-versedelementaryschoolteachers areinprovidingfirst aidandbasiclife support duringemergenciesandhowtheypromotesafety when a school nurse is absent. Thisactionresearchevaluatesteachers' awarenessoffirstaidandbasiclifesupport, underscoringtheimportanceofmasteringthese basics to protect elementary students at Bagong Pook Elementary School. Utilizing a quantitative, non-experimental research design-specifically a descriptive approach-the study examines teachers' awareness of basic life support equipment, their incident management capabilities, and their role in fostering a sense of safety without a school nurse. Encompassing seventeen (17) teachers, representing the total population at Bagong Pook Elementary School, the researchers employed a total population sampling method due to the population's small size with the specific characteristics of interest. The data and results were analyzed and found that almost 100% of elementary school teacher truly value and understand the purpose of giving basic life support as management to their sfudmergenase Most of the respondents also considered it as very important in their day-to-day lives. Whereas, on the other side, only more than half of them attended a training about this management which it will be difficult for those who didn't attend to respond when in times of need.
