Abstract
As nursing education continues to evolve, the quality of learning experiences plays a pivotal role in shaping competent healthcare professionals. This study aims to assess the satisfaction levels of nursing students at the University of Batangas regarding Related Learning Experience (RLE) materials and mannequins utilized in their educational curriculum. The research explores the perceived effectiveness of these resources, identifies challenges faced by students, and investigates the potential impact on learning outcomes. A structured questionnaire through Google forms was administered to senior nursing students, capturing demographic information, overall satisfaction ratings, and detailed insights into the perceived effectiveness of RLE materials and mannequins. The researchers made use of the frequency and percentage distribution to determine the level of satisfaction of the senior nursing students through non-probability sampling technique particularly, purposive sampling. Challenges identified by students include some issues with mannequin simulations and perceived inadequacies in RLE materials. Interestingly, some students underscore the potential impact of their satisfaction levels on the achievement of learning outcomes during clinical practice. This research contributes valuable insights into the strengths and weaknesses of current RLE materials and mannequin resources in nursing education at the University of Batangas. Findings are expected to guide educators, administrators, and policymakers in enhancing the learning environment, thereby elevating the overall educational experience for future nursing professionals.
