Abstract
Tourist Destination Plan for Himamawo Spring in Ibaan, Batangas, explores sustainable tourism, community involvement, and environmental preservation. Guided by the United Nations' Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) framework, it focuses on four key areas: accessibility, water quality, community participation, and water usage. A study of 295 respondents showed a largely Generation Z demographic and diverse neighborhood, emphasizing the importance of inclusive strategies. The findings indicate considerable support for increased accessibility, water quality monitoring, and job creation, yet worries about infrastructure and untreated water remain. The report emphasizes the benefits of IWRM for local water security and environmental practices, but it also advocates for increased transparency and safety measures. The findings will provide significant insights for future studies in tourist destination development utilizing IWRM principles to create sustainable, economically successful, and environmentally responsible tourism.
